Paddle the Pacific

Week 3 (June 24-28)

Paddle on over to San Diego Bay and experience this exciting camp! Campers will learn about some amazing Pacific animals during this interactive camp with experiments and interactive activities. Campers will experience San Diego Bay in a whole new way!

All camp schedules and activities are subject to change based off organizational and animal needs.

During camp, we will:

Day 1:

• Learn about the North Pacific Ocean.

• Feed an animal.

• Dissect a squid and learn about its anatomy.

Day 2:

• Play water sports on San Diego Bay.

• Meet a reptile.

• Do a craft.

Day 3:

• Visit animals in the Living Coast galleria.

• Discuss watersheds and how they connect to the desert.

• Build an earthquake simulator.

Day 4:

• Play water sports on San Diego Bay.

• Learn about the science behind tide pools.

• Meet and touch a moon jelly.

Day 5:

• Learn about the food chain.

• Meet a bird.

• Do a science experiment.
