Performance of LAOSA-Kyushu at Asian Pacific Festival Fukuoka,11-13 October 2014
It was the first time and inaugural performance for Laosa Kyushu to be invited to participate in the Asian Pacific Festival Fukuoka 2014 held from 11-13 October 2014. There were two stages, one was in front of Hakata station, and the other was in front of Fukuoka City Hall at Tenjin. The performance was possible under auspices of the ASEAN-Japan Centre (ASEAN Promotion Centre on Trade, Investment and Tourism) (website: www.asean.or.jp), Lao embassy to Japan in Tokyo, Fukuoka City Hall, and all members of LAOSA-Kyushu.
Kyushu University Foreign Students Association (KUFSA) Soccer Tournament, October 2014

Kyushu University Foreign Students Association (KUFSA) Soccer Tournament is the most popular and spectacular sporting events for international and local students studying not only in Kyushu University, but also students from surroundings. Each year 10 teams are selected based to participate with intention to foster amicable friendship and understanding amongst foreign students and locals. It alos marks the start of new semester (fall semester). Laosa-Kyushu has constantly sent soccer team comprised of Lao students and foreign students. This year, Laosa Kyushu team features players from Lao students from Kyushu University in Fukuoka and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Oita.

Investment Seminar for Lao PDR in Fukuoka, January 2014
Investment Seminar by a former economic professor of Horishima University, Dr. Suzuki, a current JICA advisor at the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Lao PDR. He was invited for a special seminar on Investment Opportunity in Lao PDR. The seminar was organized in Fukuoka city and other major cites of Japan with participants from top investors and companies in Japan attended.
