Competitions

Case competitions are an integral part of the learning experience for business students. However, the case competition circuit is dominated by invitation only events. My goal is to mentor teams so that a track record can be established in events that have open qualifying so in the future AUB will be considered for invitation only events. Follow the link to our track record. In addition to case competitions, I am an advocate of other competitions such as the Google Online Marketing Challenge.

Google Online Marketing Challenge

I've incorporated the Google Online Marketing Challenge (GOMC) into the INFO/MKTG 250 course called "Management of Search Marketing Technologies". The amount of work and skills you need to develop with the technologies (Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Adsense, etc.) doesn't make it feasible to compete effectively outside of a course on the subject.
