Draft Board Rules Trades Coaches Rosters Schedule Standings Stats History
Started in the 2012 season and modeled after the long running College Fantasy Football league, we hope that his league brings us the same additional knowledge and passion for this sport, along with hours of arguments, week long drafts, and some occasional fun.

Here are week 5's awards, followed by the weekly top performers.
Matchup of the week: Mark Luchies d. Andrew Braslow. Two weeks ago, Braslow was the anointed top dog of the league after back-to-back-to-back big wins against the likes of A.J., Kevin and Anthony. Now he's stuck in the jumbled five-way tie for second place after a second straight loss. Now included in that logjam: Mark Luchies, who bested Braslow by a tight 5-3 margin thanks to slim margins in steals (1), turnovers (3) and points (8).
Stud(s) of the week (owner edition): Tom Wolf. We no longer have any league teams in the winless category. Wolf was the last one to break through, collecting a 6-3 win over one-time first-place sitting Scott Bell, who now has a two-week losing streak. This was the first time in a month that Wolf set his lineup, and the fantasy basketball gods rewarded him by having a number of his players put up season-best numbers, most notably B.J. Young.Wolf celebrated this feat by failing to set his lineup for Week 6.Dud of the week (owner edition): Sharad Mattu. Mr. Mattu decided to start Marcus Smart during Week 5. A sensible decision, right? Smart was a first-round pick and has been a quality player so far this season, putting up numbers in almost all of our 8 league categories. The one problem with starting Smart this week, though, was the little tiny fact that he didn't have a game. Mattu probably felt pretty cool when he set lineups three weeks in advance, but it's probably a more effective strategy if you start people who, you know, actually play a game that week. His team's 27% from the field this week was probably a league record in ineptitude, so congrats on that as well.
Stud of the week (player edition): B.J. Young, G, Arkansas (Tom Wolf). The aforementioned Young had league-wide top-5 honors in points, rebounds and assists. In a week where not a single player played multiple games (great league setup, by the way, you guys), Young's 26-point, 13 rebound, 7 assist, 2 steal line against Northwestern State in which he shot 7-8 from the free throw line was enough to give Wolf's team an insurmountable boost in a number of categories.
Dud of the week (player edition): Tim Hardaway, G, Michigan (Scott Bell). It's bad enough to have an unforseen injury pop up during the week once a lineup is already set on a normal week. When it comes on a week with only four other games being played, it's 10 times worse and makes you the fantasy antichrist.
Here are your Week 5 top performers -- a top 5 (plus ties) of each non-percentage category.
