Chatty is the tool of choice for logging and modding the stream

Now I realize that this is chatty help but to tell the truth rewriting Chatty’s getting started guide seems silly to me.

Getting started

Now that you have chatty going and connected to channel DasValdez we have a few neat features that we all use

Logging

• 1. Click Main

  2. Click settings

  3. Click Log to file

  4. Logging mode Always

  5. Folder = wherever you want.

Timeouts

• 1. Click Commands

  2. User dialog Buttons

  3. Most of us change the 2s to 1s

  4. Decide if you want to change the rest.   I think most use  1s[1], 5m[2],1h[3],24h[4]

Custom Commands

• 1. In the custom commands window click the +

  2. A new window pops up type /class !classy $$1

  3. Save

  4. User context menu-> edit

  5. Type /class  

Now when you right click someone's name you can click classy and it will give them the !classy command

The technique for the custom commands can be used for any Nightbot or F5bot Command as well as inserting emoticons, like dasAngry or dasH.
