Why Flip Out
Why would a ship flip out during launch? The fast Answer you got too far off prograde. When a craft is moving a particularly high speed air pressure comes into play if you are high on your prograde the air starts to push on the under side of your rocket, when you are below prograde the air pushes your nose down.
Fixes: Slow down, add drag to the bottom of the rocket, and/or keep the direction the rocket is pointing at prograde.
How to get to Minmus
Hohmann Transfer
1. Enter a circular orbit on the same plane as your target. Either 20k higher or lower.
2. Set a Maneuver Node that when adjusted will touch target orbit.
3. Use wait till next orbit till the two ships arrive near the same time
4. Adjust time of Node till the ships are about 1k apart
5. Burn node at correct time
6. Match speeds when about 1k apart
7. Move in closer till dock
