This extensive document, organized in outline form, represents a summary of everything I have learned to date on issues relating to aging, illness late in life, and dying. It attempts to provide essential pointers to keep in mind at times of crisis and critical decision-making, when the wrong choice can have devastating consequences. It includes numerous elements of advice and recommendations. It also contains a compilation of various useful resources on all of the topics covered.

My Daughter's Wedding
My daughter, Mara, and her partner, Miryam, were married on June 27, 2004, at a beautiful retreat in northwestern Connecticut. I, and my partner, David, attended and participated. Below you will find my thoughts on the wedding, the celebration of which was a memorable three-day affair . The text of my toast can be found here. At the time, marriage was not legally recognized in that state, but as soon as it was, they were "officially" married under the laws of the state of Connecticut.
