Born in Paisley in 1971 , Keith was brought up in Peterhead (the Bloo Toon) where he attended Buchanhaven Primary School and Peterhead Academy before going on to study at the Robert Gordon University (RGIT) in Aberdeen.
Settling in Dundee in 1991 he commenced working for the University of Dundee, initially as a photolithographer for the Amorphous Materials Research Group in the "Juteshed" off the Geddes Quadrangle.
Keith has held different roles at the University - transferring to Registry in 2005 and latterly UoD IT Business Services in 2014 where he works as a Business Applications Specialist.

1976 - moved to Peterhead aka "The Bloo Toon" - the most north-easterly point of the Scottish mainland.
1976 - 1983 attended Buchanhaven Primary School
1983 - 1988 attended Peterhead Academy
1988 - 1991 studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Robert Gordon University (RGIT)
1991 - graduated with BSc, started work with the Amorphous Materials Research Group (AMRG), then part of the department of APEME at the University of Dundee.
2005 - 2014, working for Registry at the University of Dundee
2014 -present, working for UoD IT at the University of Dundee
