ARES/Auxcomm
I am a member of Dekalb ARES and Georgia ARES. I have a little over 20 years of experience as a net control operator for local ARES Nets. I was previously ASEC for Reporting for GA ARES (submitted monthly reports for Georgia counties to the ARRL. ) I have taken the 4 FEMA Courses: IS 100, IS200, IS700 and IS800 and the ARRL Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Courses Levels 1-3 and the ARRL EC-001 course. Also, I have taken the Basic and Intermediate Georgia ARES Winlink Proficiency training. I have experience with the digital modes and software: Winlink, Pactor 1, VARA HF/FM, VARAC. FLDigi, DRATS, VHF/UHF Packet and also BPQ software (BBS/Chat) and APRS.

I am the Assistant Emergency Coordinator (AEC) for Net Operations for Dekalb County, Georgia ARES. Dekalb ARES Emergency Practice Net meets every Sunday at 800pm local (ET) on 145.450- MHz (pl 107.2) repeater. I schedule net controls and alternate net controls for the repeater net.
