<Research profile>
Kazuji Nishikawa is a Lecturer at Osaka University of Commerce (Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Commerce) and a Researcher at the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences, Kyoto University. His research focuses on individual differences in personality traits and how these traits support social (environmental) adaptation across development. He specializes in curiosity and grit, examining their associations with social relationships, learning behaviors, and mental health. Methodologically, he conducts longitudinal and multi-method studies combining surveys and experiments, and applies advanced quantitative approaches such as structural equation modeling (including time-series modeling) and multilevel analysis to improve psychological measurement and theory building.
