Mahakala

Mahakala (or Nagpo Chenpo)

Is a Dharma protector that is seen in various manifestations. His typical color is black,which symbolizes his all-embracing, comprehensive nature. Like all colors are absorbed in black, so Mahakala is ultimate nature. He usually wears a grown of five sculls - symbol of overcoming all afflictions. He can be seen with six, four or two arms.
