Placing your order

Most of thangka art is traditional and follows traditional rules. We gratefully receive your interest to obtaining a traditionally painted thangka in the style that you have been seeing on this site. Once you told us which deity image you like to obtain, we will discuss your offer for our art, which will depend on the size and the style of the painting. To this offer we will need to add any further costs of brocade frame (if desired; cost are of an average of $100) and shipping (if needed).

Here an overview of the expected steps in their time frame.

1. The painting of the thangka, which usually takes between four to eight weeks.

2. Sewing of brocade frame in an additional week.

However, if you are planing to pay our work from overseas, this will also take time:

1. You can do a transfer over a few days through Western Union

2. Or you can transfer directly to our bank account at: NABIL BANK in Nepal, which will take between four to six weeks as to arrive here. Please know that at times we will need your payment beforehand as to be able to obtain the sufficient supplies - especially real gold - for the making of the art.
