I completed my Psychology BSc. (Hon.) at Queen’s University in 2014. I am currently working on my MSc. in Psychology (Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience), with an expected completion in 2016. I am interested in the role of executive functions in degraded speech comprehension, and my master thesis will examine specifically the role of attention in degraded speech comprehension using a parametric dual-task paradigm and functional magnetic resonance imaging. I am also involved in projects on the role of attention in modulating peripheral auditory encoding and the utility of degraded speech comprehension as a diagnostic/prognostic tool for patients with first episode psychosis.

Outside of the lab I like watching films, playing guitar, cross-country running, and indoor rock climbing.
