Flippity Games

Here a few games made at Flippity.net.  Flippity lets you create games by importing a Google spreadsheet of questions and answers. The games below practice vocabulary that will be encountered in the HESS Story.com and Go Magic series of textbooks, but they may be useful for other lesson plans as well.

I recommend copying the share link into a new tab and resizing to 150%-175% for larger pictures.

WHO WHAT WHERE -- countries and verb actions mash-up.

Slot machine randomizer. Students can spin to create random, wacky sentences.  Play as board writing or notebook writing exercise. If any character is not recognized by the class, you can make a quick digression to explain them and continue with game or write out character names in a "Word box" on the board. 

I recommend that you copy the link from share and paste in a new browser tab for a clear view of the pictures. Set the browser zoom to 125-150%.
