This portable potentiometer from the Tinsley stable is in fine condition.
It includes a built-in spot galvanometer and battery compartment. Two 3 volt supplies are required; one for the galvanometer lamp and another for the potentiometer circuit itself.
The "S" position of the selector switch is used to standardise the potentiometer against an internal Weston cell. This switch is then used to select one of the two pairs of input terminals.
The sensitivity of the instrument is excellent and voltages of less than 1 microvolt can easily be resolved.
