RS2 Resistance Standard

The RS2 series of standard resistors was designed for measurement of currents where significant power dissipation is involved. The resistors are intended to be oil filled and under these conditions the maximum power dissipation is 50 watt.

These resistors were of a similar specification to the Tinsley 1682 series, which were intended for the same type of application.

This one is in nice condition and measures very close to its nominal value.
