Dear Students,

Choosing a FYP title

Assess the skill and knowledge required first.

You have to choose something that you can deliver on time.

We have seen too many students taking up "Library" as their final year project. This has made it a very boring title and hence difficult to impress your examiners.

The word count requirement for this unit is minimum 12,000 word (excluding Proposal and Appendix).

The Turnitin requirement for the project is 10%.

After the submission of your Final Proposal, Proceed with your project idea. Do NOT wait for the approval. In most cases, the project idea are approved unless in extremely rare cases.

System development methodology in software engineering is a framework that is used to structure, plan, and control the process of developing an information system.

ERD

If you have an ERD with a many-many relationship, something is wrong.

Break the many-many relationship up.

User Interface Design

You are allowed to use tools to help you speed up your interface design.

You may find draw.io useful.

Testing

Testing requires print screens for evidence of Actual Output.

Please use Harvard refecrencing. Do not do wiki referencing.

Submission

You will need to submit 2 set of Hardcopies & 2 set of Softcopies (CDs/DVDs)

Pls make sure you have all the complete set of work.

This include cover page, proposal, table of content, references and citation etc.

Note: the UOPProject.html should be open using Google Doc
