Why should young people take drastic measures to protect the old who caused global warming and refused to take the drastic measures that would protect next generations? In the worst scenario, Covid will kill 3% of the world population of 8 billion. 240 million deaths is a lot of deaths but it is not the end of the world. Old people just die a bit earlier than expected. Young people will get sick, get better and contribute to building herd immunity. Some old people dying a bit earlier is a small price to pay for saving many lives in the future.

Trying to stop the pandemic implies a collective denial of reality. The Covid pandemic was unexpected and happened earlier than the global warming calamities that are predictable and unavoidable . Good! The more die now, the less will die later. Shrinking the world population is the most effective way to limit pollution and global warming. This pandemic is a welcome intervention by mother nature. Let nature have its way. Let old people die a bit sooner. The sooner, the better. Most old people will have no problem acknowledging reality.
