ELITE(new ePCR)
Overview ...
- For now, on actual calls, continue to use the ePCR system we have been using.
- USE GOOGLE as your browser ... GOOGLE works .... others may or may not.
- REQUIRED TRAINING
- Please complete 1 report each week over the next 3 weeks starting 10/17 ... YOU CAN DO THIS FROM HOME or the barn or anywhere
To get started ...
- link to https://www.imagetrendelite.com/Elite/Organizationrhodeisland/
- your username is the same as always "EMT12345" (where 12345 is your emt #). If your # is less than 5 digits, preceed it with a 0. Example :: Ron's emt # is 14717 ... Ron's username is EMT14717. Jim's emt# is 1482 ... Jim's username is EMT01482.
- your password is the same as always ... However, when you login it may ask you to change it
- Once you are in
- Select Yes for the release form
- Find the INCIDENTS drop-down, and select Rhode Island Patient Care Report (It has a STAR next to it)
- Go ... Fill out all the fields as best you can, although there looks like more, it seems to be a much more friendly interface.
- If you have troubles, please try to remember what you did preceding your troubles ...
Notes ...
- Once we go live ... You MUST enter/complete a report for EVERY patient contact per DOH. This inclues BP checks, lit-assists, refusals, well being checks, etc...) ... everything.
- You CAN complete a report even when you are OFFLINE (no internet connection). If you do that, you will need to upload it when you are able to get to a wiFi connection (the barn, ER, etc...)
- If you don't know there is a STYLUS inserted in the ToughBooks that makes the touch screens easier to use, now would be a good time to become aware of that feature. CONNECTING THE MOUSE is even easier.
- If you have questions, comments, concerns, email ron (rbarber@cox.net) ... the first question I will ask is "Are you using Google?"
Other EMS news ...
- For now, on actual calls, continue to use the ePCR system we have been using.
- NO MORE EPI PENS
- 10/31/2016 will be the last day EPI-pens will be on the trucks. Due to the EPI crisis we are only able to exchange vials and ampules. This weeks training focuses on that. Epi-pens and Jrs. are not exhangeable at the ER and cost $ 1K per set.
Issues we've seen so far
- Bev used version IE 11.0 and was able to login. But, the "synch" process hung-forever at 90%. We "Closed" out of that. When she hit "New Incident" it hung. When she tried to change crew, there was nothing in the dropdown. I suspect that the computer she is on is limiting her access, or there are issues running IE 11.0
