Call for Papers

International Workshop on Web Services and Social Media (WSSM) encompasses a wide range of topics in the research, design, and implementation of Web related things, especially, social activity on the Internet. The first workshop on WSSM-2012 was held in Melbourne, Australia. This time, we are honored to hold the 12th workshop on WSSM-2023 in conjunction with the 26th International Conference on NBiS-2023. This workshop provides an international forum for researchers and participants to share and exchange their experiences, discuss challenges and present original ideas in all aspect of Web Services and Social Media. You are invited to submit papers in these areas and welcome to participate in the workshop. We welcome not only research papers on WSSM technology but also reports on requirements of WSSM in all domains.

• SNS, Social Media, Community Functions, CyberWorld, Microblogging, Metaverse

• Mobile Services, Location-Aware apps, eLearning Services,

• P2P Web apps, Web Mashups, Web Virtual Space,

• User-Generated Contents, Consumer-Generated Media, IoT-Generated Contents

• Information Retrieval, XML, Data Mining, AI engine

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, microservices , web-frameworks

Paper Submission

Authors should submit a paper to the WSSM-2023 workshop with maximum 10 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. However, authors can add up to 2 extra pages with the appropriate fee payment. Papers must be prepared using the Lecture Notes Style of Springer Proceedings. Submission instructions can be found at the web page at  the submissions page.

All accepted papers of the workshop will be included in the NBiS-2023 conference proceedings.

Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the workshop. Please do follow the announcement on the NBiS-2023 website.
