Call for Papers

According to the spread of the Internet of Things (IoT), many of devices are now producing a various of data by means of HTTP connections. These devices are currently used for testing or private purposes. However, it could become tools for new web services with some big-data approach. The number of people who are using a smart phone as one of their indispensable items is increasing. They may be able to get information not only from web sites but also from embedded devices set up in town. At the same time, their smart phones could become one of devices which are producing valuable data by using its equipped sensors. Connectivity on device-to-device communication, device-to-human communication, and human-to-human communication are important feature of future web services.

International Workshop on Web Services and Social Media (WSSM) encompasses a wide range of topics in the research, design, and implementation of Web related things, especially, social activity on the Internet. The first workshop on WSSM-2012 was held in Melbourne, Australia. The second workshop on WSSM-2013 was held in Gwangju, Korea. The 3rd workshop on WSSM-2014 was held in Salerno, Italy. And this time, the 4th workshop on WSSM-2015 will be held in Taipei, Taiwan in conjunction with the 18th International Conference on NBiS-2015. This workshop provides an international forum for researchers and participants to share and exchange their experiences, discuss challenges and present original ideas in all aspect of Web Services and Social Media. You are invited to submit papers in these areas and welcome to participate in the workshop. We welcome not only research papers on WSSM technology but also reports on requirements of WSSM in all domains.

Paper Submission

The proceedings of the NBiS-2015 conference and workshops will be published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS). Authors are invited to submit research contributions representing original, previously unpublished work. Please submit a 6-pages paper in CPS format (two columns in A4). You can confirm the CPS format and authors guidelines at the following web page: Information for Authors.

The submission web page is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wssm2015. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. All papers will be refereed by members of the program committee.
