Skippy

Skippy is a Nemasket River fish adopted by S. Bradley, W. McDonald, and K. Cassidy; some of his adopters helped participate in collecting the 625 river herring that were transported to the Ipswich River for restoration. Skippy was tagged, transported, and released on April 30.

Skippy was last seen by the stationary receiver at Site 8 in the Great Wenham Swamp on May 1, 2007 at 10:14 am. We have been manually tracking Skippy since then, in the Bunker Meadows pond in the Audubon.

April 30: Skippy is tagged at the Nemasket River, then transported 90 minutes to the Ipswich River in Topsfield.

April 30, 7:36 pm: Skippy arrives at the Site 8 receiver and stays within range for about 7 minutes.

May 1, 7:11 am: Skippy spends the night out of range of the receivers, but revisits Site 8 in the morning, staying in the area until 10:14.
