This schedule is organized by week. Click on the schedule topics in the green boxes below to get to the video, audio, and other materials that should be reviewed for each class and laboratory section, and for the examinations. "Lecture" content is delivered as videos noted below, and may be watched on-line or at the University of Hawai`i Sinclair Library, Wong Media Center. Please be patient when dowloading the videos online, it may take a while, depending on your connection speed.
1) Watch the lecture videos and do the readings, BEFORE you come to class.
2) Each week please turn in one typed paragraph for each video you watch, answering the following questions:
(1) What did you learn from the lecture about the relationship between people and plants?
(2) How does what you learned apply to your own life? Include at least one example
These paragraphs should demonstrate that you thought critically about what you watched, as well as serve as a study aid for your exams.
3) Each week bring at least one plant to class that fits with the theme of the week and is culturally,economically or personally important to you or your family
