The transformation of a new believer as he makes
the decrees of heaven
Jesus taught His Church that the secret to building the Church is to make the decrees of heaven.
In other words, the secret of bringing the Church to maturity is to teach believers to make decrees.
And as new and old believers are taught to decree what has been decreed in heaven, their spiritual transformation begins.
And God's grace will be fully released to bring the people of God, as individual believers, and as the Body of Christ corporately, into the full manifestation of His glory on this earth.
When God's people begin to decree the decrees of heaven, the Church will be walking in the fullness of the love and passion of the Father, the fullness of the power and authority of Jesus, and the fullness of the glory of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 16:18-19 NIV Margin
18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.
Great and glorious miracles will be seen daily in the believer's life when he makes the decrees of heaven.
Indeed, as Jesus has promised, "Nothing shall be impossible for any child of God," when he learns to make the decrees of God.
Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you."
1. Uncountable miracles, big and small, will be his daily experience.
When a believer decree the decrees of heaven, he will see and experience every blessing promised by God in His word.
No longer will a believer run to and fro, running from seminar to seminar, from this man of God to that man of God, in order to try to get God to bless Him.
God has already blessed every believer with all things freely in Christ.
By speaking God's decrees over his own life, a believer will cause these blessings to overflow in his life.
As a believer begins to decree the decrees of heaven, what he decrees comes to pass in His life.
The blessings of God will no longer be something found only in the Bible, or in healing crusades, but will be his personal experience in all areas of his life.
The blessings of God will no longer be something experienced only once in a long while, but will be pouring out from an open heaven daily into His life.
Ephesians 1:3
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Romans 8:32
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?
2. He will be a living witness to the love and power of God.
All men today, from the richest to the poorest, face problems they cannot solve.
When a believer walks continuously in the miracles of God, he will be a powerful witness to the death and resurrection of Jesus, and to the love and power of our Almighty God.
He will naturally fulfill the Great Commission, without any need for special training and preparation and special evangelistic projects, for he will be bubbling over with the joy and glory of God, for all men to see and wonder.
Like the woman at the well, a believer who experiences the miracles of God daily will not be able to hold back from testifying about the goodness and love of our Father God.
No pastor or church leader needs to push him to share the Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven with others around him.
On the other hand, a believer who lives in defeat and failure, and poverty and bondage, will not want to go out to fulfill the Great Commission.
Such a believer has no testimony to which he can share with others..
But all this will change when believers are taught to decree the decrees of heaven.
Acts 1:8
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
John 4:28-30
28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,
29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”
30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.
3. A believer who decrees the calling of God, to be like Jesus, upon his own life will grow into the calling of God.
All believers must be taught to decree that by the grace of God, they can do the Father's will and grow to be mature like Jesus.
As they declare that they can walk in holiness by the grace of God, God's great grace is released to fulfill the decrees of heaven.
They will indeed grow to be mature like Jesus.
It is totally a work of God in a believer's life, so that God gets all the glory.
It is God's desire that all believers grow into the maturity and likeness of Jesus.
God wants all believer to agree with His plans in their heart and to declare His will for their lives with their lips.
As they agree with heaven, heaven's grace will enter their lives to perform the word of God.
God will indeed have a glorious bride prepared for His Son Jesus.
But the Church must realize that this work of transformation cannot be achieved by the will-power and techniques and programs and striving of man.
It is the Lord Jesus who will build His Church, by His great grace and power, as God's people just learn to rest in His goodness and grace, and decree it over their lives.
Any other method of training God's people in holy living will always end in great failure and frustration.
What thousands of hours of seminars and lectures and sermons cannot do, God can do quickly, if we will just learn to speak the decrees of heaven over our lives.
This is just too simple a revelation for a proud believer to submit to.
He thinks wrongly that all his fasting and praying and church attendance and bible degrees and conferences will make him more like Jesus.
No, this is not God's way for His children to grow to spiritual maturity in Christ.
Jesus will build His Church on the foundational decree that "Jesus is the Messiah," and Jesus will likewise build all believers to maturity as they declare all the other decrees of heaven.
The work of man cannot add to the work of grace that can only be done by the Holy Spirit in bringing the Church to the fullness of Christ.
And the Holy Spirit's power is released to transform the believer when he speaks forth the decrees of heaven.
God indeed watches over His word to perform it.
Matthew 16:18-19 NIV Margin
18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth [= decree on earth] will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth [= decree on earth] will have been loosed in heaven.
Ephesians 5:25-27
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
Matthew 12:28
28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Acts 1:8
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
4. A believer who has learnt to decree the whole counsel of God will not be deceived by the false doctrines of man and demons.
The decrees of heaven or the secrets of heaven or the mysteries of heaven are all eternal truths revealed by God to His children.
When we obey the commands of Jesus and begin to decree the decrees of heaven, we will see the miracles of God manifest in our lives and ministry.
Then we will know these teachings deep in our hearts as God's truth, and these truths will set us free from all demonic deception and bondage.
And neither will we be easily deceived by the winds of doctrines that are blowing here and there to destroy our simple faith in Christ.
John 17:17
17 Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.
John 8:31-32
31 To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching [= do what I have taught you to do], you are really my disciples.
32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’
Matthew 24:10-11, 24
10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Ephesians 4:11-14
11 So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
5. Every believer will fulfill His destiny to be a mighty man of God as he agrees with the decrees of heaven with his lips.
The decrees of God are the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven that will unlock our destiny on this earth.
Jesus said that every child of God today is greater than any of the Old Testament kings and prophets.
We will have the wisdom of God---a wisdom greater than that of King Solomon.
We will have the power of God to do the miracles that Moses did and even the miracles that Jesus did.
We will have the love of God to walk in the unconditional of God for all men.
We will receive be able to receive all the grace of God to fulfill our personal calling to be mighty men and women of the Most High God.
This is because Jesus has said that "Nothing shall be impossible for you," when we speak in agreement with the decrees of heaven.
God's destiny for us can indeed be fulfilled by every believer, no matter how unlearned he is, if he will just humble himself, receive God's revelation, and decree the decrees of heaven.
Matthew 17:20
20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say [= make a decree] to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you."
Luke 12:32
32 ‘Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom.
Matthew 13:11 NIV
11 He replied, "Because the knowledge of the secrets [mysteries, KJV] of the Kingdom of Heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
Luke 10:21-22
21 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, andrevealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
22 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.’
But the Church must realize that this work of transformation cannot be achieved by the will-power and techniques and
