INTERCESSORS FOR NATIONS (IFN)

  Prayer Focus February 2023:

THE GLORIOUS CHURCH ---

OUR RICHES IN CHRIST (Part B)

Dear IFN Family,

God wants His children to know of their inheritance in Christ---their riches in Christ.

EPHESIANS 1:1818 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people.

In this month's Prayer Focus, let us pray and decree that the Church of Jesus Christ will know and walk in the fullness of their riches in Christ on this earth today.

In this way, they are blessed to bless the nations, fulfilling God's call to Abraham and his descendants, natural and spiritual.

Therefore, let us pray as follows:

A. THE LORD'S PRAYER Expanded

(MATTHEW 6:9-13; LUKE 11:2-4; LEVITICUS 26:40; JOSHUA 3:5; ROMANS 12:1)

Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name.

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven---in every nation and in every person on this earth.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Forgive us our sins, and the sins of our forefathers, as we also have forgiven those who sinned against us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever.

We consecrate our lives to You this day for You glory and use.

In Jesus' name. Amen and Amen.

B. THANKSGIVING & PRAISE

1. Abba Father, we thank You that through Jesus, all the riches of heaven have been given to every child of God.

... Thank You that You desire each of Your children to know of their inheritance in Christ.

... In this way, we are able to walk in the riches of heaven today,

... and not live as beggars and vagabonds,

... but as sons and daughters of the Living God,

... so that we are blessed to bless the nations,

... according to Your calling to Abraham and to his descendants, natural and spiritual,

... etc.

(EPHESIANS 1:16; ; EPHESIANS 5:25-27 NKJ; 1 PETER 1:15-16)

EPHESIANS 1:33  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
EPHESIANS 1:1818 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people.
GENESIS 12:1-3 NIV, ASV1  Yehovah had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
GALATIANS 3:77 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.

2. We thank You that as we have prayed the Lord's Prayer, and as You have answered us instantly,

... Your Kingdom has come into this earth, and into our lives, as it is in heaven,

... and Your will is established on this earth, in all people, as it is in heaven.

... And because heaven is in our hearts,

... and because the will of God is done in our hearts as it is in heaven,

... therefore, all Your children have received every blessing of heaven in their lives today,

... etc.

(MATTHEW 6:10; MARK 11:24; LUKE 17:21)

MATTHEW 6:1010 Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
MARK 11:24 ESV24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
[>> Our prayers are answered instantly]
LUKE 17:21 NKJ21  nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
[Kingdom of God = Kingdom of Heaven; Matthew 19:23-24]

3. Abba Father, we thank You that You have made each one of Your children a priest and a king,

... to rule and reign with Jesus on this earth today,

... bringing our prayers and petitions before You as a priest,

... making our decrees as a king,

... so that when You answer our prayers and perform our decrees, Your rule and Your Kingdom is established on this earth,

... and Your people experience the riches of heaven in our lives,

... etc.

(REVELATION 5:10 NKJ; MARK 11:23-24 ESV)

REVELATION 5:10 NKJ10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.
MARK 11:23-24 ESV23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
[>> Our decrees are performed by God]
24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
[>> Our prayers are answered instantly]

4. Thank You that You have called us to be intercessors for all men in all nations,

... intercessors who can build Your Kingdom on this earth, in all men, in all nations, as it is in heaven,

... by standing in the gap and repenting of the sins of all men on earth,

... and by praying for and decreeing blessings over all men.,

... etc.

(EZEKIEL 22:30; REVELATION 12:11 GNT)
EZEKIEL 22:3030 I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.
[Stand in the gap >> Repent of the sins of the land]
[Build up the wall >> Pray for and decree blessings over the land]
[Wall >> Salvation, blessings; Isaiah 60:18]
REVELATION 12:11 GNT11 They won the victory over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the truth which they proclaimed; and they were willing to give up their lives and die.
[By the blood of the Lamb >> Repent of the sins of the land, >> so that the blood of Jesus washes them away, >> so that the works of the devil are nullified]
[By the truth which they proclaim >> Pray for and decree blessings over the land]

5. Thank You that as we repent on behalf of any person on earth, You will forgive the sins of that person.

... In this way, the devil no longer has the legal right to destroy that person,

... just as the devil is unable to touch Jesus in any way because He fully obeys God's commands, and did not sin.

... and instead, You have the legal right to bless that person, according to our prayers and decrees,

... etc.

(2 CHRONICLES 7:14; JOHN 20:23 KJV; JOHN 14:30-31)

2 CHRONICLES 7:1414 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. JOHN 20:23 KJV23  Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
JOHN 14:30-3130 I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, 31 but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.

6. We thank You that as we pray for all men on earth and decree Your blessings over them,

... You will answer our prayers instantly and do what we declare and decree.

... And as You do what we declare and decree,

... Your Kingdom is built in their lives, as it is in heaven,

... And all Your blessings manifest in their lives, as it is in heaven,

... so that we live as true sons and daughters of God, and not as vagabonds and beggars,

... etc.

(MARK 11:23-24; LUKE 15:)

MARK 11:24 ESV24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
[>> Our prayers are answered instantly]
MARK 11:23 ESV23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
[>> Our decrees are performed by God]
LUKE 15:17-2217 "When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! [>> Living as a vagabond]18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. [>> Repentance]19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.21 The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’22 But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. [>> Riches restored to the son]23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate."[>> Celebrating our riches in Christ]

7. We thank You that when You do what we decree and declare over all men on this earth,

... no one can stop You from answering our prayers and decrees and stop You from blessing these people.

... No demon or man or witchdoctor can stop You when You answer our prayers, according to what we have decreed,

... etc.

(ISAIAH 14:27; PROVERBS 19:21; 21:30)

ISAIAH 14:27 NIV, ASV

27 For Yehovah of Hosts has purposed, and who can thwart Him? His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

PROVERBS 19:21 NIV, ASV21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is Yehovah’s purpose that prevails.
PROVERBS 21:3030 There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against Yehovah.

C. PRAYER OF REPENTANCE ON BEHALF OF EVERYONE IN ALL NATIONS ON EARTH, IN AND OUTSIDE THE CHURCH

1. Abba Father, we acknowledge that in everyone in all nations on this earth,

... including my nation,

... that it is our sins and the sins of our forefathers,

... that have given the devil the legal right to bring death and destruction to the people in all families in this world,

... etc.

(JOHN 10:10; EPHESIANS 4:26-27; REVELATION 3:1-22; DANIEL 9:8; NEHEMIAH 1:6; LEVITICUS 26:40)

2. We acknowledge that

... all our sins and the sins of our forefathers, all the way back to Adam,

... have destroyed the lives of many people and families and their descendants, and nations,

... causing untold suffering, misery, and desolation to them,

... etc.

(ISAIAH 1:23; 3:14-15; 5:22-23; 10:1-2)

3. We acknowledge that

... all these sins have brought curses to everyone in all nations,

... to every family in all nations,

... and to our siblings,

... and to our descendants,

... etc.

(EXODUS 20:5; DEUTERONOMY 28:15-68)

4. We therefore right now confess to You,

... all the sins of everyone in all nations on this earth,

... all our own sins and the sins of our forefathers,

... all the way back to Adam,

... etc.

(2 CHRONICLES 7:14; LEVITICUS 26:40; NEHEMIAH 1:6; DANIEL 9:8)

5. Forgive us for our sin of racism,

... cursing and condemning people of another race,

... instead of loving our neighbours as ourselves,

... not acknowledging that everyone on this earth is made in Your image and is precious to You,

... not believing that You love all men and have sent Your only Son to die for the sins of all men,

... etc.

(MATTHEW 22:39; GENESIS 9:6; JOHN 3:16)

6. Forgive us and our forefathers for cursing Your Ancient People,

... for despising them, for hating them, persecuting them, murdering them,

... for speaking evil about them, instead of praying for them and blessing them,

... for teaching others the false "Replacement Theology"---that Your plans for them have been replaced by Your plans for the believers in Jesus,

... thereby bringing upon ourselves and our descendants, Your ordained curses, in all nations on this earth,

... etc.

(GENESIS 12:1-3; ISAIAH 44:7)

7. Forgive us for all our sins of idolatry,

... worshipping demons and false gods and false teachers, and dead ancestors,

... making pacts and covenants with them to receive their power and blessings for us and our descendants,

... making vows on our own behalf and on behalf of our descendants to serve these false gods and demons and false teachers and dead ancestors forever.

... We renounce all such covenants that had been made between the devil and ourselves and our forefathers,

... through these false gods and demons and false teachers and dead ancestors,

... in all nations on this earth,

... etc.

(EXODUS 20:3; GALATIANS 5:20)

8. Forgive us for our sins of idolatry,

... worshipping creation instead of the one true God, Yehovah, the Maker of heaven and earth,

... worshipping the sun, moon and stars, and rocks and trees, and animals of all kinds,

... following the ideologies of man instead of the ways of God in our government and personal way of life,

... including ideologies such as communism, socialism, evolution,

... humanism, atheism, polytheism,

... satanism, freemasonry, traditions,

... "special knowledge" that contradicts God's word,

... teachings of false messiahs, etc.,

... and using oppression and compulsion and deception to force others to follow these ungodly ideologies,

... and not allowing them to make their own choice concerning their beliefs,

... etc.

(ROMANS 1:22-23; COLOSSIANS 2:8; 1 TIMOTHY 6:20)

9. Forgive us for our sins of idolatry,

... when we treat money and possessions as our gods.

... making them more important than You,

... putting the seeking of wealth and possessions as our first priority in life,

... instead of seeking first Your Kingdom;

... not being willing to use our wealth and possession as You have taught us in Your word,

... and when You have directed us to do so by Your Spirit,

... thus causing great darkness to enter into our lives, instead of Your wisdom and revelation,

... which in turn leads to great tragedy and calamities for ourselves and our children,

... etc.

(MATTHEW 6:24; 1 TIMOTHY 6:10; MATTHEW 6:23 NIV MARGIN)

10. Forgive us for our sins of idolatry,

... when we love people more than we love You,

... people including our spouse, our parents, our children, our relatives, and others,

... using them as excuses not to obey the commands of Your word and not to follow Your Spirit,

... etc.

(MATTHEW 10:37; LUKE 18:29-30; DEUTERONOMY 13:6-8)

... speaking words of unbelief and fear in our conversation, in social media, and in our families and churches,

... etc.

(JOHN 14:30-31; EPHESIANS 4:26-27)

31. Forgive us for our sin of bringing up the past failures, and weaknesses and shortcomings of ourselves and of others,

... focusing on our own past weaknesses instead of Your promises of a new beginning with a new move of God today,

... and causing us to have no faith and confidence in approaching Your throne of grace for help,

... and also causing us to judge and condemn others who have let us down in the past.

... We now ask You to forgive us of our past failures, shortcomings, and mistakes,

... and to give us the grace to forget the past, and never to bring them up again.

... We now forgive and bless all those who have disappointed us and harmed us and our forefathers,

... by their failures, shortcomings, and mistakes,

WE KNOW THE JOY OF GOD

3. Today, we have the joy of the Lord as a gift from God.

... The joy of the Lord is the deep sense of happiness in our spirit and soul, no matter what is happening in our lives,

... because we know that God, the Creator of heaven and earth, is our Father,

... and He has saved us and has blessed us with all the riches of heaven,

... and will always do good to us.

... The joy of the Lord is our strength.

... And as we express the joy of the Lord by rejoicing in the goodness and blessings of God at all times,

WE KNOW THE PEACE OF GOD

4. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and He has given to us the peace of God.

... The peace of God is the state of tranquility and quietness, of  harmony and calmness,

... of our body, soul, and spirit,

... when we are trusting in the power and grace of God,

... a state that transcends all circumstances.

... And in the peace of God, Jesus is with us always,

... to help us overcome all trials and troubles and tribulation.

... We will therefore fix our mind and thoughts on God and His promises,

... and trust in the faithfulness and power of God to help us in every situation.

WE HAVE REST IN OUR SOUL THROUGH  DOING THE WORKS OF GOD

5. Today, we can go to Jesus, and receive from Him His yoke and burden,

... and learn from Him,

... and do what He is doing, so that we can find rest for our souls.

... We will therefore rest from our own works and do only the works of God,

... so that we may enter into the Sabbath-rest of God.

... We will therefore go to Jesus daily to talk to Him,

... and receive from Jesus His faith, His revelation, and the good works the Father has prepared for each of us to do,

... and the strength and grace to do these good works, so that we can find rest for our souls.

... We will not harden our heart when we hear the instructions of Jesus,

... but we will believe and obey, and in this way enter into God's rest,

GOD WILL ALWAYS ACCEPT US AND NEVER REJECT US

8. Yehovah is our Father, we are His children.

... He will always receive us.

... He will always accept us.

... Though our father and mother may forsake us, Yehovah our Father will always receive us.

... Though man may reject us, Yehovah our Father will always accept us,

... etc.

(ROMANS 8:15; 15:7; JOHN 1:12; PSALM 27:10; JOSHUA 1:5; MATTHEW 28:20)
ROMANS 8:1515 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
JOHN 1:1212 Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.
ROMANS 15:77 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
PSALM 27:10 NIV, ASV10 Though my father and mother forsake me, Yehovah will receive me.

GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US; HE WILL NOT FORSAKE US

9. Yehovah our Father is always with us, till the end of the age.

... Therefore, we will not fear, for His rod and His staff---His word and His Spirit--- they comfort us, save us and protect us, heal us and deliver us.

... When we pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over us.

... When we walk through the fire, we will not be burned.

... Because of God's great love for us, He will never leave us or forsake us.

... He will always hold us safely in the palms of His hands.

... No one can snatch us out of His hands.

... Nothing can separate us from His love,

... etc.

(MATTHEW 28:20; JOSHUA 1:5; PSALM 23:4; ISAIAH 43:1b-2; PSALM 37:28a; JOHN 10:29; ROMANS 8:38-39)

MATTHEW 28:2020 "And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
JOSHUA 1:55 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
PSALM 23:4 ESV4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
ISAIAH 43:1a-21a “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
PSALM 37:28a NIV, ASV28a For Yehovah loves the just and will not forsake His faithful ones.
JOHN 10:2929 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
ROMANS 8:38-3938 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO KEEP HIS PROMISES
10. Yehovah our God is a faithful, covenant-keeping, promise-keeping God.... Therefore, He will do what we have decreed and declared, according to His promises,... as we make our decrees in accordance with His will in heaven.... To Him be glory forever and ever,... etc. (MARK 11:23; MATTHEW 16:19 NAS, NIV MARGIN)

MARK 11:23 ESV23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
[what he says >> what he decrees and declares>> it will be done for him]
MATTHEW 16:19 NAS, NIV MARGIN19 I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
[keys of heaven >> revelation of God's will from heaven]
[bind and loose >> make decrees; >> permit or prohibit; Wikipedia]
ROMANS 11:3636 For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

Amen and Amen.

E.  PRAY & SING IN TONGUES AFTER YOU HAVE DECREED GOD'S BLESSINGS OVER THE CHURCH

1. When we pray and sing in tongues,

... we are praying according to God's good plans,

... according to God's perfect plans, God's hidden plans (= God's mysteries) for everyone around us.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:22 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter MYSTERIES by the Spirit.

2. When we pray and sing in tongues without ceasing,

... as Paul commanded and as Paul did,

... then God will work all things out for good for those who love Him.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:17 NKJ17 Pray without ceasing. 1 CORINTHIANS 14:1818 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all. ROMANS 8:26-2826 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

F. PRAISE AND THANK GOD WHENEVER WE DECREE GOD'S BLESSINGS

Whenever we praise and thank God as we make decrees of blessings,

... the angels of God are activated to bind the power of demons,

... in our lives, in our families, in our siblings, in our descendants, in the churches, in the nations, and in our land.

PSALM 149:6-96 May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands,
[double-edged sword  >> decrees of God's blessings], 7 to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples,8 to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron,9 to carry out the sentence written against them—this is the glory of all his faithful people.
PSALM 103:20 ESV20 Bless Yehovah, O you His angels, you mighty ones who do His word, obeying the voice of His word!
