UNCLE BEH WAS HEALED OF HIS BRAIN CANCER
Brother Andrew:
"Two lady members (both sisters) of our Church Outreach in Balik Pulau asked their uncle (Uncle Beh) from Bukit Mertajam to come to the outreach to receive prayer for healing for his brain cancer.
He had received radiation and chemotherapy for his cancer and had been sent home to die, because no further treatment was available at the private hospital he went to.
When he came, a church elder prayed for God to forgive Uncle Beh of all his sins and to heal him of his cancer.
The church elder instructed Uncle Beh to believe that the healing has come, and to thank God everyday for healing him of his cancer.
This uncle believed in the teaching in Mark 11:24, believing that he has received his miracle the moment he was prayed for, and began to thank God for healing him.
He thanked God by faith in God's word, even though he felt nothing had changed.
The following Sunday, after I arrived back from overseas, the 2 church sisters told me with great excitement:
"Our uncle came last Sunday for prayer to receive God's healing of his cancer.
Last week, he has started to eat very heartily again!"
The following Sunday, they said, "He has begun to put on weight this past week!"
On the third Sunday, they told me, "His hair has grown again on his head!"
On the fourth Sunday, they exclaimed to me, "Our uncle has taken his motorbike to the coffee-shop to meet his old friends again!"
When we met Uncle Beh a year later in Bukit Mertajam, he showed us the way to a local college we were looking for.
The daughters of the two sisters from our Balik Pulau Outreach had applied to study at this college after receiving their Form 5 results.
Uncle Beh was full of joy and exuberance.
He gave many testimonies on the power of Jesus and said in Hokkien, 'Your Jesus is truly a great God!'
Glory!
Hallelujah!"

Comments (Brother Andrew):
1. Uncle Beh was not a baptized believer.
He has not been to any church before he came to Balik Pulau to receive prayer for healing.
And he never went to any church after that.
2. Yet this Uncle was healed of his brain cancer.
This is because of these 4 reasons:
--- He believed that his sins were forgiven when the elder prayed to God to forgive him his sins.
--- He believed that God has healed him as soon as he was prayed for by the elder (Mark 11:24).
--- He expressed his faith in the miracle of healing that has come into his life by decreeing and declaring everyday: "By the wounds of Jesus I have been healed (Mark 11:23)."
--- He thanked God every day for healing him by saying, "Thank You Jesus for healing me."
3. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world (John 1:29).
When we ask God to forgive someone, and the person believes that he is forgiven, then his sins are forgiven (John 20:23 KJV).
John 20:23 KJV
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
The authority to release forgiveness of sins or to remit sins or to cancel sins is the greatest and first authority given by Jesus to His disciples after He rose from the dead.
Use this authority to remove all sins from the non-believers and believers you are praying for, just as Jesus did.
It is sin that brings death and destruction, curses and diseases.
When sin is removed, God is legally permitted to bless a person when we pray for them.
4. Jesus has carried away the sicknesses and pains of every sick person in this world (Isaiah 53:4 RSV Margin, HCSB).
We as believers can lay hands on the sick and command healing to all who turn to God for healing, even when they have not received Jesus as their personal Saviour or even when they have not been baptized.
In fact, healing will come to non-believers as we obey the command of Jesus to preach the Good News to all nations, heal the sick and cast out demons (Mark 16:15-18; Matthew 28:19-20).
5. It is only when they are healed and are set free that they will believe in Jesus as Saviour.
And when they have received Jesus as Saviour, we can then baptize them and teach them to obey all the commands of Jesus, so that they become true disciples of Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20).
Shalom
