PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS AND DECREES---27
BY GOD’S GRACE, I WILL ALWAYS REJOICE UNDER PERSECUTION
1. Our Lord Jesus has said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
Therefore, by God’s grace, I will always rejoice under persecution, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to me.
(Matthew 5:10-11)
2. Therefore, I will always rejoice when people insult me, persecute me and falsely say all kinds of evil against me because of Jesus.
Because my reward will be great in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before me.
(Matthew 5:10-11)
3. Therefore, I will love my enemies, bless those who curse me, do good to those who hate me, and pray for those who spitefully use me and persecute me.
In this way I will live as a true son of my Father in heaven.
I will not repay evil with evil or insult with insult.
On the contrary, I will repay evil with blessing, because to this I am called, so that I may inherit a blessing.
(Matthew 5:44-45 NKJ ; 1 Peter 3:9)
4. I will not repay anyone evil for evil.
I will be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
I will not take revenge on anyone, but I will leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
(Romans 12:17-19)
5. If my enemy is hungry, I will feed him.
If he is thirsty, I will give him something to drink.
In doing this, I will heap burning coals on his head.
I will not be overcome by evil, but I will overcome evil with good.
(Romans 12:20-21)
6. If the world hates me, I will keep in mind that it hated Jesus first.
If I belonged to the world, it would love me as its own.
As it is, I do not belong to the world, but Jesus has chosen me out of the world.
That is why the world hates me.
(John 15:18-19)
7. I will remember what Jesus has said: “A servant is not greater than his master.”
If they persecuted Jesus, they will persecute me also.
In this world I will have tribulation and trouble and suffering.
But I will rejoice, for Jesus has overcome the world.
(John 15:20; 16:33)
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
"Yehovah is good, His love endures forever!"
