Sorry if anything looks broken. I'm still in the process of migrating to the new version of Google Sites.
Recoloring - Totals Skillcape Concept - Party Pete's People Fakes - Fake Requests - ScapeRune Falador
Canada - Various Item Fakes - My Third Fake - My Second Fake - My First Fake
33 fakes are on this page.
Recoloring
Someone recolored his guy's armor to purple and then flamed everybody who said it's easy to do. So I recolored his armor even more to prove the point that, yes, recoloring is very easy (unless you're in MS Paint, but this guy wasn't :p)
Totals Skillcape Concept
Someone at Tip.It suggested the concept of a "Totals Skillcape" which flashes in the colors of all skills which you have a 99 in. I decided to make that concept a reality (well, graphically anyways...). There are two animated versions:
Fading (note that the GIF quality is poor)
Flashing
Party Pete's People fakes:
At Party Pete's People, the main thing we do is have fun. Oftentimes, I'll make a quick fake for something that happens on the forum.
I made this fake back when I first joined PPP.
I've made level-up fakes for practically anything you can imagine :p
Concept art for an Abyssal Lemon?
And a whole series of fakes made for one PPP party. Please excuse the text censorship :o
Fake Requests:
Sometimes people request for fakes of certain things, and sometimes I'm there to make them:
This one wasn't really a request, it was part of a sig someone requested.
Kirby! Requested by some guy who didn't even care about the fake once I did it <_<
Some Bright Orbs and Magic Cubes for heb0's Horse Project (suggestion) at Sal's Realm of RuneScape.
And a LOT more fakes for the Horse Project. There's summoning pouches and scrolls for horses (weren't used in the topic, someone made better ones), The Golden Horseshoe (strung and unstrung), a Bronze Cup and Listening Device, Horse Bones (edited from heb0's version), and normal and broken lassos.
What does Falador look like in ScapeRune?
While making a map for Party Pete's People, I decided to theorize what the rest of ScapeRune's Falador may look like. It's harder than it looks - I had to erase all of the trees and replace them with dead ones, as well as the massive recoloring and redoing the text. But this one's sort of inspiring me to make a whole series of ScapeRune fakes, from the horrifyingly grim Lumbridge to the Stronghold of Insecurities to the verdant and peaceful Wilderness to the Dungeon of Tolna (the Room of Rage just became the Room of Love :aware:).
Canada
Probably the best map fake I've ever made. I made it for The World Map Project at Sal's a long time ago.
Various item fakes:
Note: from here on, my fakes are no longer in any particular order.
Trophy fakes, used occasionally when I give people fake awards. The order I made them in is approximately top-to-bottom. The last part, with GE versions and new trophy sprites, is my latest addition to this image.
Another set of item fakes that commonly wind up in my fake awards - ribbons and certificates.
Yet another set of items I use in fake awards.
You've probably picked up the theme here, right? Yes, more award items. Although, this time, I'm planning on re-doing some of them as a suggestion fake for the Falador Party Room.
When I was "baking" those cookie items, I accidentally ended up making gemstone items as well... These also find themselves in my awards sometimes, although usually the whole set is stacked together.
When I made my first ever fake award, it was dedicated to *surprise* *surprise* Beret. That's why you see a bunch of berets at the top (the green one was made by Beret though). The Party Hats were used in a later fake by me (scroll down to see it).
Lightsabers, originally made for my friend JJohnston/Jess.
Once again it is a fake I've never finished, but unlike my first two, I actually want to finish it. It is yet another play on the popular "Skill Island" fake idea, although I strove for completeness as I was making it. I planned to have 4 stories, and a new type of portal (indicated by the recolored transport icon), and I made the whole thing (with the exception of the background) in MS Paint. With the exception of my fake kits, this is the last RuneScape fake I have done in MS Paint.
My second fake:
Also very incomplete, and still an item edit, but significantly improved. It was my first fake made in Macromedia Fireworks.
My first fake:
