April 12, 2011-Joint mtg w/PIPLA - Patent Damages

Please join us for our April joint meeting with PIPLA on April 12, 2011 at the Earle Mack School of Law at Drexel University. The meeting will be a panel discussion regarding patent damages with Judge Eduardo Robreno of the EDPA, Barry Ungar of Rembrandt IP and Dr. Bill Kerr of Berkeley Research Group, LLC. The panel will discuss recent changes made by judicial opinions in the way damages for patent infringement are calculated, including changes to the entire market value rule, the 25% rule of thumb and the definition of comparable licenses for determining a reasonable royalty.

7pm Reception with full dinner
The cost is $30 for BFAIC members and $55 for non-members. The meeting is free to all Drexel students. Please make checks payable to “PIPLA.” One hour of Pennsylvania and Delaware CLE substantive credit has been requested. There is garage parking available at the rate of $7.00, and is located in the building adjacent to the law school. Please note that you will need to remember your stall number in order to pay for parking at the central kiosk.
