The Kevin Sheehan Trophy is a perpetual trophy awarded to the Best Goaltender of the Premier A level winter season competition for Ice Hockey Victoria.

The beginning date for the award is currently unknown, with the earliest reference to the award being named after Kevin Sheehan being in 1979.

History

Before the first written reference to Kevin Sheehan for the Best Goaltender award, the accomplishment was simply referred to as Goalie Average.

Traditions and Trophy History

For the 2018 IHV Winter season, the Kevin Sheehan Trophy was refurbished. On the award is a centerpiece with the inscription:

"Presented By Blackhawks I.H.C. & Clayton Jr. I.H.C. In Memory of Kevin Sheehan"
