The Glaciarium Ice Hockey Club was formed at the beginning of the 2nd ice skating season for the Melbourne Glaciarium in 1907. The Glaciarium was the first ice hockey club to form in Australia. They are named for the Melbourne Glaciarium as the in-house representative club that functioned to organise ice hockey matches with surrounding schools.[1] [2]
