Here are the PROVISIONAL results and the winners at the 2012 Idle Along Regatta at Hobsonville-Herald Island 28-29 April 2012. Some names and other details are yet to be completed. If you can help with the missing names please email us.
Overall 15 boats turned out on the Saturday - but some squally winds across the broad stretch north of Herald Island saw 3 capsizes and two withdrawals. The toll included a broken mast (IA 9), a broken boom (IA 6), a broken tiller and a lost rudder.
Eleven boats turned out on Sunday - to almost windless conditions at the schedule start time. A gentle breeze filled in with excellent sailing conditions apart from a brief rain squall.
