Due: January 14 @ 11:59PM HOL Time
1. What is the role of the Invisibility Task Force?
2. How long have Muggles thought the dodo bird is extinct?
3. Give one reason why you would not use the Disillusionment Charm on a magical creature.
4. Name one location that was made Unplottable and give the reason.
5. What is the maximum area one member of the Invisibility Task Force can make Unplottable at a time?
1. Describe how you would handle the following situation as a member of the Invisibility Task Force: The population of acromantulas has been growing alarmingly quickly over past few years. Some greedy witches and wizards have begun hunting them for the venom. Borneo is the home of the acromantulas and a rather large island that Muggles would notice if it disappeared.
2. Choose any creature and try to convince the Ministry of Magic to make its habitat Unplottable. You must support your arguments well! The Ministry still has thousands of requests to go through.
Please choose one of the following options.
Option 1 - Muggle-Repelling Assignment (30 points)
You are a member of the Invisibility Task Force that was sent to reinforce Muggle-Repelling Charms. Unfortunately, Headquarters only gave you the following map. You must figure out the one closed loop that surrounds the area you are working with. The numbers tell you the amount of loop segments next to that number. The loop will not touch or cross itself. Upload your completed map to an image-hosting site and send the link. No attachments will be open. HERE is an example.
Option 2 - Plotting the Unplottable (30 points)
Places that are made Unplottable do not show up on Muggle maps and even some wizard maps, but there must be a record of them somewhere! Choose a region and draw a map that shows areas that have been made Unplottable. Please include one that was mentioned in the lesson. You can make up as many others as you want. Upload your map to an image-hosting site and send the link. Attachments will not be open.
