Who to register
We strive to create a safe space in which students learn how to engage in controversy with civility; this is best accomplished through open dialogue and cooperation with individuals who have different perspectives, life experiences, needs, and goals.
We want to ensure that students of different communities have equitable access to our seminar. Ultimately, our hope is that all students feel respected, represented, and included at our seminar. We are looking for individuals who are typically underrepresented at our seminar such as BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color), LGBTQ+ students, and students with disabilities.
Our objective is not to tell you who you should nominate. Instead, our objective is to implore you to consider not only who has leadership potential, but also who would not necessarily have the opportunity to learn about leadership in other areas of their life.
Scholarships are available upon request; while financial need and leadership potential are the only criteria, we are particularly interested in providing opportunities for BIPOC, LGBTQ+ students, and students with disabilities.
