I shoot a lot, collect my brass and reload. Somehow I've gotten old and bending over to pick up brass is not enjoyable.
The following is how I took a HF trash grabber and a hair clip from Dollar Tree and constructed a cartridge brass pickup tool.
I've used this tool for about 200 casings now and I don't see it wearing out anytime soon.
Homemade brass grabber ready to go.
I pinned, rather than glued, the hair clip half to a trimmed grabber jaw, because I felt a little floppiness would aid in the two clip halves interlocking instead of binding.
In operation I can pickup 3 casings at a time if they're lying close together.

Leaving the hair clip halves loose seems to work the best
