Ledmark Aluminum Alcohol Cookset

This is a Chinese knockoff of the Optimus stove of yesteryear. The dry weight is about 1.25lbs. The burner holds about 3.5oz of fuel. The aluminum is a soft alloy and has a clear anodize finish.

The burner is dimensionally identical to the Trangia (don't confuse the Trangia with the Swedish military SVEA burner - they're different - see http://mysite.verizon.net/restoq6v/id6.html for more information). The burner does not have a simmer ring, but you can (and probably should) use the Trangia simmer-ring.

Note: without a simmer-ring, which can be used as a snuffer, you'll likely destroy the seal in the burner cap using it as a snuffer.
