Purpose
The Methodology Advisory Group (MAG) is an important component of the Hong Kong Society of Behavioral Health (HKSBH), which aims to provide free consultation to its members on research methodology and statistical techniques. Its establishment also aims to encourage collaboration among researchers from inter-disciplinary backgrounds.
The MAG currently is composed of several key advisors who are experts in quantitative research. We may invite other advisors upon availability. If you are interested in becoming one of the advisors, please contact HKSBH at the email below.

Procedure
Members may contact our advisors via e-mail at mag.hksocbh@gmail.com with specific statistical or methodological questions. Please identify you name and institution and be as specific as possible in your request so we can discern which advisor is the most appropriate to address your questions. Upon receipt, our staff will forward your email to the advisor whose expertise best matches with your questions. Their responses are advisory in nature; the MAG will not carry out any specific analyses for members. Furthermore, responses from advisors alone do not oblige members to include the advisors as co-authors of any publications or co-investigators of grants. Members should follow the standard academic practice for authorship and granting other forms of recognition.
