About the conference

BeHealth 2, organized by the Hong Kong Society of Behavioral Health (HKSBH), will be held in Hong Kong on November 13, 2016. This conference aims to bring together academics, health practitioners, and stakeholders in a wide range of fields and disciplines relevant to behavioral health. The Conference will be a good opportunity to discuss important issues in implementation science and life-course perspectives from adolescents to elderly.

As an expert and an important stakeholder in behavioral health, you are cordially invited to join us as we address “Behavioral Interventions: Evidence, Practice, and Life-course Perspectives” as the conference theme. This theme will be approached from many angles through keynotes, invited speakers, a roundtable session, and poster presentations.

Poster Abstract Submission

Participants are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for free poster presentations. Please send your abstract(s) through e-mail (hksocbh@gmail.com) with the header “[BeHealth 2 Abstract Submission]” before the deadline.

Submission deadline: October 20, 2016

Announcement of results: November 1, 2016

About Behavioral Health

Behavioral health/medicine is defined as “the interdisciplinary field concerned with the development and integration of psychosocial, behavioral and biomedical science knowledge and techniques relevant to health and illness and the application of this knowledge and these techniques to prevention, etiology, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation” (International Society of Behavioral Medicine, 2013).
