Donkey Crankers have never led HAC in points scored for a season (as of 2017-18)
The Donkey Crankers have never led the league in season points, even in their two championship years. In those two seasons, 2014-15 and 2015-16, the Donkeys came in second each season. Gary and his then Balls to the Wall led the league in points in 2014-15 when he ultimately lost to Crankers owner Nate in the HAC Finals. In 2015-16 the Washington Spin led the league in points...and then lost to Nate in the Finals.
Kevin Durant and LeBron James as #1 or #2 draft picks.
For the first FOUR drafts, (2010 to 2013), both LeBron James and Kevin Durant were the first two selections. And really, that streak likely would have continued had keepers not come into the league in the 2014 offseason. Hickory High re-signed Durant and Long Shot re-signed LeBron and both were not available in the 2014 HAC Draft. However, both Durant and LeBron were draft eligible again in 2015 and only Durant kept the streak going, being selected #1 overall by Wesley and Hickory High. LeBron ended up being taken #4 overall by Ken.

Kevin Durant has been taken #1 overall in the HAC Draft THREE times. In the 2010, 2013 and 2015 HAC Drafts, the franchise with the top pick viewed Durant as the right guy to be their cornerstone. Durant was not draft eligible in 2014 because he was re-signed as a keeper.
