2002-03 FNBA Season
Hootie McBoobs
2002-03 FNBA Champions
owner: John Diaz
Since the league was in flux at the end of the 2002-03 FNBA season, rosters are not available. The league was hosted on Yahoo!, and because of indecision concerning the league's future, statistics were not able to be preserved. The Hootie McBoobs won the league championship and defeated the 2001-02 champions, the Mt. Kelly Yobbies.
In an attempt to create a better league with a more stable foundation for the future, a redraft was organized for the 2003-04 FNBA season. As a result, at the end of the 2002-03 season, there were no keeper plans. CBS Sportsline was chosen as a host website for the 2003-04 season in order to have a more expansive website for the league during the season, and one that would retain statistics after the season was done. In addition, an expansive constitution was drawn up, and serious efforts were made to recruit owners who could contribute to an all inclusive, in-depth league for the indefinite future.
Thus, the FNBA was reborn for the 2003-04 season into a tighter, more powerful league.
