Hart's Red & White Food Store
The Hart Grocery Store was owned by Roy and Erma (Dignin) Hart. Following his graduation their son, Gerald, worked as a butcher there. November 5, 1938, it was sold to Henry E. Laffe and transfer included the building, fixtures and all Stock. The association with the Red and White Corporation was included in the transaction. Under the ownership of the Hart's, the store became one of the most popular trading places in the Mentor area.
