I will take the time to get to know the details. In other words I will keep on inquiring until I appreciate the relational and systemic responses. I keep myself from drawing conclusions prematurely
I inquire into four levels of complexity : the systemic, group, interpersonal, and intra-personal and I create maps of the key forces at play, how these forces relate, and select the essential forces to receive attention
I draw pictures of the current reality and the desired reality; and design a strategy and an action plan to close the gap between current reality and the desired reality
I respect and am sensitive to the timing and pacing of the change potential of individuals and systems
My inquiry process creates space for the individuals and the system, emotionally and intellectually, to find their own answers
Change processes can be messy and unpredictable, so I measure periodically to ensure that we stay on track. My audits establish baselines from which to progress
I continuously integrate my clinical experience into my consulting work and utilize consulting theory and practice in my clinical work
