A session on Google Calendars? My inner cynic was grumbling.
But everyone knows how to do that? How wrong I was!
Jim's opening statement:

struck a chord with me. I knew how bad I was at getting notes home from school,
and it's so much easier to check/re-check an email wherever/whenever you need to,
click on links for more info.
Far more convenient than the only copy of a note being on the fridge door
(or not, in Jim's case!).
The way Google Calendar can process natural language is astounding:
I had a play and was very impressed.
But then Jim took Google Calendar to a completely different level:
Instead of seeing it only as a bolt-on, just for people to see
Integrate it as a key part of a publicity campaign to recruit volunteers:
