My 2 GCT Projects
GAfE+Poland
Working with Liz Sproat on her project to bring Google Apps for Education into Polish national schools
Liz has already started this project, working with the Polish Ministry of Education. At GTASWE we talked about how I could help her, being located in Warsaw
My school, the American School of Warsaw, could act as a training hub or GAfE model school in the future, for working with Polish teachers and administrators
In conjunction with this project, I have volunteered to be a Google Educator Group leader for either Warsaw or for Poland, as the GEG gets up and running.

Things-GLT
My father's memoir "Things That Must Not Be Forgotten - A childhood in wartime China" (by Michael David Kwan) takes place during the civil war and the Japanese occupation
As his book has gone back into print as it is being used at some US universities for Asian Studies programs, I wanted to create a Google Lit Trip to accompany the book
I had the privilege to meet and work with Jerome Burg at a Google Geo Institute, so I intend to contact Jerome when this project is finished to get it linked from his GLT site
A further step with this goal would be to introduce my father's book into the reading list for English classes here at ASW.
