Horse/Wrangler info

Personal Horse Transport Regulations and Wrangler Information:

Personal horses: Kansas law requires a Negative Coggins test within 12 months prior to entry into the state, and a veterinary health certificate. There is a feed and tack store in Eureka, and hay will be available for purchase on-site.

There are NO barns/stalls. Horses must be staked out. Water is easily accessible from many faucets throughout the area. The Bechtel Ranch must purchase county water, so do not let hoses/faucets run continuously. Please conserve. Clean up after your horses by piling manure away from the stakeout area where it may be easily approached by skid loader (away from trees, faucets, stumps etc.)

Event Wrangler:

Terry Zygalinski is the wrangler for 2014. Terry always brings a string of fine horses, and he has graciously agreed to stay for our GSCA event following the GSPCA National Championships.

Horses may be rented by whole or half day: Whole day $100; half-day $60.

Please call him directly to make arrangements if you will require a rental horse.
