20-inch reflector, Glasgow University, UK, 1968
Dr. Giles Hammond of the University of Glasgow kindly supplied the following images of the 20 inch F8 Ritchey Chretien Telescope.
Dr Hammond reports that the instrument has received updated electronic drives and encoders, the optics were removed for re-coating in Autumn 2011, over the following year this telescope will be used for project work including optical measuring of the Crab pulsar rotation with optical chopping.
