Check-In Registration for the Farm Boys Tour was at the Garland Hotel in New Concord, OH on Wednesday afternoon where we greeted friends and new participants. The tour included 52 attendees driving 25 cars.
Among the attractions enjoyed during the 3-day tour were: The Wilds, a river boat cruise on the Muskingum River, a pottery shop, a fish hatchery, a Victorian mansion, an old mining company office building, a private classic car collection, antique shops, John Glenn's boyhood home, and The National Road / Zane Grey museum.
Many thanks to Jack & Barb Stover for hosting this 36th Annual Farm Boys Tour and to their committee, Jim & Fran Barney for double checking routes, also Doug Kennedy and Wilma Davis for typing and publishing the tour book. Perfect weather, “easy to follow” directions, scenic routes on paved state roads with little traffic, stops, and delicious meals, all contributed to make this a great tour!
