2017-07-24 GLR Tour - Batesville, IN

We arrived Monday evening at the host motel, Hampton Inn in Batesville, IN. Darrel & Ramona Wilkinson, tour hosts, were in the lobby distributing tour packets as the Hampton Inn provided fresh, warm cookies. 37 tourists attended our opening banquet and after dinner, the GLR held its monthly meeting. This allowed members on the tour an opportunity to experience first hand what GLR meetings are about. We had 4 children under the age of 14 on our tour. This year the GLR treasury paid registration fees for children. The GLR leadership thought it was a good way to encourage young people to join us. (Submitted by Dave Plassman)
