There is a time at night, past midnight and before morn, when all folk must be on their guard. My brother did not heed the warnings and messed with things that man should not and I had the misfortune to witness him being taken. Such things never leave the conscious mind and I seek to enlighten other foolish young people that to enter into darkness may cause darkness to enter into you. None of you can imagine the sight I saw. My attempts at recording his fate see my hand quiver and shake and I always fail, for fear that the monster is at my shoulder waiting to pounce. Take my advice that whatever riches are offered, whatever dreams are promised, reject the deal. The price will be far more than you can possibly bear...
