‘Such a shame P doesn’t have any powers. If she did my replacement would be decided for me, as none of us can match her for sheer courage. We’ve asked a lot of her and she always delivers. It defies belief that other ‘peoples’ did not want her. Their loss is our gain. At times like these a reckless spirit is a wonderful asset – at all times in fact. Part of me wonders whether she should be the one to bring in the American. She could drag his whole regiment here if she set her mind to it, though she may well scare the poor fellow off. 7 stone dripping wet, no powers to speak of, and yet she’s as formidable as they come. I’ll work on a script with her of how to greet our American cousin. Of us all she’s the one that most deserves to survive this. With the risks she takes that would be some achievement.’
